Bring back major updates

Minecraft’s new game drop system is fantastic, as we get frequent new updates. But a part of me misses the major updates with a lot of content, so I planned for a way to bring them back, but keep the game drop system. Mojang could have two dev teams for Minecraft; one that develops major updates and one that continues game drops. This alone may be desynchronized since game drops will release more often, so the major update dev team will only continue working on the major update. Once completed, they can send the files to the game drop team so they can implement these features into the latest game drop. This whole system will allow for game drops to continue releasing and significantly update untouched parts of the game. Hope to see this implemented in the future!
