I suggest improving the cocoa mechanics to make them more realistic and rewarding. Currently, harvesting cocoa drops beans directly. Instead, it should drop a Cocoa Pod.
Key features:
Harvesting: A fully grown crop drops 1 Cocoa Pod.
Deconstructing: Placing 1 Cocoa Pod in the crafting grid yields 49 Cocoa Beans.
New Food Source: You can eat the Cocoa Pod itself. It restores 9 hunger points (4.5 drumsticks).
Chocolate Bars: You can now craft Chocolate Bars!
Recipe: 4 Cocoa Beans + 1 Milk Bucket + 1 Sugar = 4 Chocolate Bars.
Effect: Chocolate provides a small speed boost (Speed I) for 10 seconds, making it a unique "energy" snack.
Why? This adds depth to the Jungle biome and gives players a reason to farm cocoa beyond just making cookies.
