I would like to suggest adding support for custom player skins on the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft.
Currently, players on PC can easily use their own custom skins, but players on the Nintendo Switch version cannot. Because of this, many Switch players are unable to use skins they designed themselves.
Minecraft is a game built around creativity and self-expression. Players can build anything they imagine, create complex redstone systems, and design their own worlds. Custom skins are another important way for players to express their creativity and identity in the game.
The Nintendo Switch is one of the most popular platforms for Minecraft in countries like Japan, and many players there primarily play on Switch. Allowing custom skins would greatly improve the experience for a large number of players.
If adding a full skin editor on the Switch is technically difficult, another possible solution could be allowing players to upload skins through their Microsoft account and use them in the game across platforms.
This feature could also potentially be introduced as an expanded feature for a future version such as the Nintendo Switch 2.
This would give Switch players the same creative freedom that PC players already have while keeping the system safe and manageable.
Adding this feature would make the experience more consistent across platforms and would allow many more players to fully express their creativity in Minecraft.
