Dear Mojang Studios team,
As a Bedrock player, I would like to share a few suggestions that many players hope to see in future updates. These requests focus on improving gameplay parity and player experience.
The first suggestion is expanding PvP mechanics in Bedrock. Many players are inspired by advanced combat techniques seen in Java PvP. One example is attribute swapping with weapons such as the spear and mace. This mechanic allows players to perform creative strategies like chaining dash movement without long cooldown limits. Adding a similar attribute swap system would allow Bedrock players to explore more skill-based and creative combat styles.
Additionally, two Java combat mechanics would greatly improve Bedrock PvP: sword sweeping attacks and the ability for axes to temporarily disable shields. These mechanics add strategy, balance, and depth to combat, making fights more engaging and rewarding for skilled players.
The second request is improving the offhand system. In Java, players can place almost any item or block in the offhand and use it normally. Expanding Bedrock’s offhand functionality to allow full item use would greatly improve building, exploration, and combat efficiency.
Finally, many players hope for easier cross-edition multiplayer between Bedrock and Java without requiring external servers or complicated setups. Being able to easily join friends across editions would strengthen the global Minecraft community.
Thank you for considering this feedback.
