The Spear

The spear can be a weaker remake of the trident. It can be jabbed, and thrown like a trident but not receive loyalty or channeling. It would be craftable, having the same recipe as a shovel but with leather in the recipe. It can have Wood to Netherite varients, and possibly even stack in the inventory. These stacks could be up to 3-5 per stack. I think its reasonable since the spear would not have loyalty. It was necessary to distinguish the spear from the trident.

The Spears could be thrown at an opponent in succession, and be picked up later. It would be awe striking if the spears could be thrown at a wall and climbed up on. Players could scale Castle walls and cliff sides with well placed spears.

The spears could be enchanted with Impaling, Mending, Unbreaking, and Fire Aspect.
