We can all agree that Minecraft has a large lack of colorful wood types, right? After a few teasers by the devs, where the Mangrove trees may take on a deep red color, it got me thinking, Why not more colors to more trees?
However, with Mangrove now being red, I thought up of more tree colors, all of which are found throughout South America.
The first tree I would like to introduce is Bebeeru, found in Gyuana. These thick, strong evergreens, true both outside and in, would be great for Minecraft. It would finally add that green wood that many players have longed for, especially with the green stairs and slabs as well. I personnel would like to build something out of wood that has been truly overridden by moss, and Greenheart Planks would do just that!
Next, is Brazils Pau Amarillo, or Yellowheart. Yellowheart, unlike Jungle, Greenheart, or the yet mentioned Purpleheart, doesn't grow big and strong like its sisters. A humble tree, if you may. This tree, with its golden plank potential, has a unique feature about it that I'm sure all my Autumnal lovers would very much enjoy, which are yellow leaf blocks
And finally, deep in the forest of the Amazon and spanning from Peru to Mexico, is Purpleheart. Tall and strong, with a VERY purple center. Peltogyne, or the much more handsome Purpleheart, would be amazing. And we're talking a TRUE purple, not that dark magenta Crimson Fungus tries to sell to us. Besides, who like fungus?
