Shedding Birch Tree

Birch Trees in real life shed their bark. Its kind of like paper. If the Birch Forest receives its update, it could shed bark and be used to get paper. This can be done by allowing the bark to shed instead of stripping the bark off the log.

    I think stripping birch trees should also work, although it should give an intermediary item called birch bark. Birch bark can be crafted into paper, but also in real life its a really good kindling and is often used to start fires, so it should also be able to be used as a replacement for coal in campfire recipes and used a low power fuel.
