Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Hardened Swords

Hardened swords could be a great addition to Minecraft, as they could be slightly improved variants of different swords (excluding wooden and stone swords).

For example, you could mine a new, hard ore that could be smelted, and put into a smithing table with, say an iron sword. In the output you would be granted a "Hardened Iron Sword".

It could do more damage and look slightly different, and it would be more durable than normal swords.
