There are actually quite a few implementations that should be added to improve the functionality & customizability of the GUI/UI on Bedrock
These will also improve parity as keyboard players (windows 10 edition) have similar functions. Here are a few:
[For mobile players]
- Removal of screen glitching bug (screen shakes at random when trying to turn, at the top because this is REALLY annoying)
- Custom d-pad buttons placement & other controls
- Sprint button
- Hold sprint (as in sprint continues - if you do not release your finger after double tapping forward to activate it - after sprint stopping events such as activating sprint in the air or hitting a block)
- Always-on diagonal movement button
- Back diagonals
- 1 tap crouch (currently, it is either double tap or single tap with 2 fingers)
- Hold jump to auto-jump
- Custom tap and hold delay before action (includes throwing, shooting, eating, mining
- Mining circle toggle/size adjustment (for non-split)
[General]
- Text copy and paste
- Text editing in general (cursor functions weirdly in book and quills and command blocks, especially when dealing with multiple lines)
thats all I can think of for now, add more suggestions in the comments
Note: usually I play on mobile, on servers and also some command block stuff, and its just really annoying the way the controls and UI were designed, frustrating, inconvenient, and a disadvantage
