Updated “Create New World” experience in Bedrock Beta

The latest Bedrock Beta (1.18.20.20) introduces a redesigned Create New World experience. If you have the conditions met to try it, you’ll be able to opt-in from the Create New World screen. We’ve still got some work to do, but we wanted to give you an early look at what we’re building. 

If you can see it, we’d love to hear your thoughts on this new design! Let us know in the comments — what do you think?

    I would like them to add some new buttons, one of them would be to change the first, second and third person camera and the other to right-click like a computer and give us the accompaniment option

    Maybe consider moving the "Friendly Fire" option into the Multiplayer tab as it really is only a Multiplayer setting option. It currently sits/is found under the "Advanced" tab but really only applies when your changing your world to/from Multiplayer. I find the new GUI looks good but require alot more clicks to setup a world, specially if you use the same settings over and over...IE speedrunners, Map makers. Having world profile settings/templates would be super cool so i can pick a template that has pre-defined settings so i can make one for a flat world, one for just survival gameplay, another for basic creative and another for speed running where things like starting map are off and multiplayer is off, but on the survival template...these setting might be all switched on by deafult.

    The new screen looks much better and gives people more of the ability to know what the settings do😊.

    Just switched to this new UI and my god it looks amazing. It is easier to use for new players coming to the game first time. and just looks more pleasing to the eye in general. I like the sound affects that occur when turning off/on features and that little sparkle on the categories picture every time you click on it.  Also like it how you split the settings up into more compact categories than needing to go to a new category just to find one setting. but now they are all in one category! Keep up the good work!

    I don't really like they new design, it looks clean, but it also looks way to big, and looks more like a simplistic mobile game UI, so it just seems off on PC, so I wouldn't really say it's an improvement from the old one. Something more similar to Legacy console edition and Java Edition UI would be cooler, but also keep it unique while still having a Minecrafty style, The new UI doesn't really speak to me.

    I like the new UI but the text isn't integer scaling. like, it's a bit blurry instead of pixel perfect.

    Also the toggle switch animations are choppy, slow, and feel unresponsive.

    But so far everything else looks amazing.

    Bonjour, 

    Apprécie les différentes séparations en dessous du bouton créer.  

     

    Autres retours:

    -Mauvaise synchronisation lors d'importation du ou des mondes.

    -Sur la page création d'un monde, dans les paramétrages du monde, avoir la possibilité d'exporter le monde vers le fichiers mcworld sur notre pc qui lui est attribué.

     -A l'accueil, dans paramètres, création pour pouvoir paramétrer l'exportation de monde vers le dossier mcworld sur le pc (exemple: E:\minecraft\mcworld) 

    Comme l'importation de monde, d'une version à une autre (exemple: De beta à prewiew )

    Mais je suis un testeur rapide. Le temps et la maitrise sont vos alliés.
