The new UI for creating a new world splits the previous Game tab into General, Advanced and Cheats. The General and Multiplayer menus seem good for PC and Mobile. Advanced and Cheats split is odd, even though it did exist in old UI as well. The new UI is a chance to organize the options better and to sort them in a sensible way.
Switches are now placed far away from the option name, which doesn't help to see which are on or off. On a PC monitor I need to dart my eyes back and forth to confirm the option is set correctly. This wasn't the case in old UI, and it's relatively faster to set up a world with it.
It took me quite a while to set up a usual world I would use for creative / behavior pack work, where I'd need these switches:
Flat world, Show coordinates, Always day, Mob spawning, Weather cycle, Education edition
Most of the options in the "Advanced" tab are gamerules, which can be set once in the game, and I'd consider them "Cheats" too. It's now a guessing game as to which setting is in Advanced vs Cheats, as it's not clear how they are grouped. The options could still be grouped, but putting them in different tabs doesn't seem like it solves an existing problem. It was alright in the old version, apart from "Experiments" being above "Cheats", where most players will want to get to Cheats, but not be confused by Experiments.
Splitting the Beta Features into its own category on the other hand is a great move, and makes it clear as to what it is.
