Villagers are unbalanced right now. A major cause of that is villager curing, you are able to lower prices significantly with almost no effort required. My idea, that I've talked with other expierienced Minecraft players with is to add a time limit for lowering prices. Just as when we hit villager or buy items from him, the prices will decrease just for a period of time it would be better if the same would happen with curing.
This new system will encourage players either to:
* Build a better item farm to be able to trade same amount
* Improve his villager trading hall
* Build a raid farm
All of these are much better options than taking a zombie to villager and curing him. All of these require building and designing which is a huge part of Minecraft. Additionaly, encouraging players to build and design will keep them interested in gameplay more as there will be less annoying working with bad designs.
This change would also give players who are not that much into villager slavery a fighting chance in progress in comparasion to these who use villagers; it would also remove the randomness of finding the village near you as a necesity if villagers would be nerfed.
