Smart Funnels

A new item in future updates would be an interesting smart hopper. You create it with a hopper and some other items, like redstone or quartz, generating a smart hopper. The mechanics would be quite simple: when you open the inside of the hopper, there would be a free slot on the side, in addition to the usual space for passing items. But when you place any item in that empty space, any item similar to it will be filtered out, only that item. For example, a block of wood, and only blocks similar to it will pass through that hopper; the filter limit is 1 item. I believe this would be an amazing addition to Minecraft, something that could make things incredible. I've always dreamed of creating a huge chest room with sorting hoppers, and this special hopper would make sense. I always end up leaving my things disorganized, and seeing them so simply organized would make me love the game even more, because I would have one less thing to worry about regarding my disorganized items. We have sorting systems, but they involve complex systems incapable of organizing as fluidly as the smart hopper would, and this would combine perfectly with mobs like Copper Golems and Allay, completing the system in a totally organized way.
