Hi All, I've been really excited for Minecraft Dungeons ever since I heard that it would be a dungeon crawler with local coop and I really like the game as a whole;
However, I feel like it's too punishing. You see, I've been playing ARPG games ever since the first Diablo gave birth to this genre, but none of them felt as difficult as Dungeons.
I realize that it sounds ridiculous considering how casual Minecraft games are supposed to be but that's true.
Enemies fall pretty quickly, but so does my character. Potion cooldown is so long that most of the time I'm running in panic, struggling for survival, even when using armor with damage reduction and matching my enemies in power level.
I think that if a game is made so challenging, there should be no limit for lives per map, like all ARPG games do. Either that or simply lower enemy damage. I don't think I'm supposed to have such a hard time when my power level is identical or higher than my enemies'.
The main problem with such balance is that it forces the player to cheese certain gear/strategy combo, like spamming the multishot crossbow instead of having fun experimenting with all kinds of cool stuff that's in the game. Are you guys planning to address this in future updates?
