Phantom Membrane Trap

Phantom membrane blocks would be quartz colored and come in stairs and slabs too, they would have 8 tiny squares as its border texture and 1 big one in the middle.

the phantom membrane trap would be made with a phantom membrane block combined with a observer, placing a block on the trap block would replace the texture with the block your trying to place texture which can be great for making traps (although shifting will allow you to place a block on it) what the phantom membrane block does is look like a normal phantom membrane block but being on it or 1 block above will activate it and show that it is a trap block it would deal damage and give the paralysis effect or something else, it would not activate again until some time after, combining it with redstone would make a redstone phantom membrane trap which would instead activate when activated with redstone.

this would give the phantom more use and a reason to go fight the slight annoyance of the night sky
