The allay collects items upon death

to make the allay more useful maybe when you kill or be killed the allay will collect the items back to you, making the allay more useful

    thats not op at all? maybe balance it by making it so it has a max capacity of like 18 or 9 slots

    This doesn't sound op at all. It's already super easy to get items back upon death unless they fall in lava or something, which the allay wouldn't be changing. Unless, in the rare circumstance, your items fell off a cliff or something, having the allay pick up items for you wouldn't change the game significantly. It's more quality of life than anything.
