Big Jungle Beetles

Why is it that in every fantasy game its always spiders? why not something else? but in all seriousness maybe there could be big beetles in the jungles which wouldn't burn in the day, but wouldn't attack unless you go near them or hit them, this would make the jungle feel more... jungely

    Yeah it would be cute to have gigantic woodlooses hanging aound in the trees, but maybe it matches better with the big dark oak forests? (because there is a lot of wood)
