Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Preventing Players from Being Poisoned IRL from mushrooms

Minecraft has always put forth effort in order to ensure that players, especially young players, do not accidentally learn incorrect things from their game that could potentially cause harm to them, their environment, or their pets (for example, changing the taming item from cookies to seeds for parrots in order to prevent players from feeding their real pet parrots chocolate, which would be toxic to them.) I am concerned about players accidentally learning that red and brown mushrooms are edible and safe to eat, which is not the case. A change would to be to rename brown mushrooms to portebello mushrooms, and replace red mushrooms with another kind of fungus (chanterelle, morel, etc) in the recipe for mushroom stew. Red mushrooms should be renamed to amanita mushrooms.

    I agree, but I disagree with adding just any fungus to replace it. Do NOT eat or touch any mushroom you see. Please only eat confirmed safe mushrooms if they are from the grocery store and fresh. I don’t think they should add any mushrooms that have a BAD lookalike. Players may get confused since POISONOUS mushrooms can look similar to another mushroom. Nobody should eat any kind of mushroom or berry unless it’s from the grocery store. A grocery store mushroom should also be confirmed to be safe to eat and still fresh.
