Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sea Salt

Imagine you make your way to a underwater cave you are swimming through and see a red granite like rock you break it and its Potash (sea salt). You can use Potash to dry a wet sponge. You can also see it when you are mining and are just about to hit water. It will be found in big chunks but the chunks are semi-rare. When it is mined the item looks like sugar. The block is like red stone and you get multiple when you break it this is used so you plenty to quickly dry a sponge. Players could then expand their worlds under the surface and have underwater houses and even dry out sunk ships and sea temples.

    There are other aspects that could improve from this. Maybe, you coyld find it SOMETIMES below water, and there could be salt dunes, that would be EXTREMELY rare (maybe 3 percent chance when creating a desert?), where the main block would be salt

    This and Tin would make sense for Minecraft ...in my opinion. Tin to combine with Copper to make Bronze!
