New use for Amethyst - Chandelier

The chandelier is a block crafted with gold, chains and amethyst shards. It behaves similarly to a spore blossom, in that it can only be placed on a ceiling, and that it creates particles. However, it has a few key differences. Firstly, the chandelier will not create particles unless placed on a tile exposed to at least light level 13. Secondly, the particles created by the chandelier would be whiteish and multicoloured, as if the chandelier was refracting the light in the room. I feel this block has a place in minecraft as it provides another use for amethyst, which is currently lacking somewhat compared to other items. In addition, it gives players a new effect to work with, and builds off an existing mechanic while also introducing a new one.

    The recipe could also incorporate candles, making the chandelier into a light source of its own

    I actually really like this idea, although it should really be a light source, as chandeliers are in real life. Maybe the recipe could be like:

    [blank] [chains] [blank]
    [amethyst] [candle] [amethyst]
    [gold] [gold] [gold]

    Or perhaps in place of the candle, there could be another chain/amethyst and you have to place candles in the chandelier in order to make it a light source? (Kinda like how you'd put food onto a campfire to cook it, except without cooking the candle of course--) And maybe in place of gold, just gold nuggets?
    Maybe there could also be two variants in place of just one, a golden chandelier and an iron one, I think it'd be nice to have both, not to mention cheaper if you struggle to find gold.
