An idea I've had for the Warden is the ability for it to create a new Sculk Growth in it's area, specifically when it wants to burrow back underground but is too far away from another Sculk Growth to do so.
So it creates a moderately sized growth, just big enough for it to burrow back into, but will always have a Sculk Catalyst with it.
This makes the Sculk Catalyst renewable by means of the Warden, but also allows the Deep Dark biome to slowly take over other areas if uninterrupted, due to this cycle:
Mob walks into Deep Dark -> Triggers Shriekers -> Summons Warden -> Warden chases and kills mob -> Warden creates new Growth and burrows in -> Mob walks near new growth...
Fortunately this method of the biome spreading would require open access to other caves, so if a Deep Dark biome has no other caves that mobs can walk in or out of, the biome won't be able to grow out of it.
