Building on Villages

I've had this idea and I wanted to share it. So here it is:

If the player has stopped raids and other attacks from destroying one village, the player could have a choice to become Mayor. This allows the player to upgrade the village, like upgrading houses, building new houses for new villagers, upgrading trades and job sites. Possibly even start a city? Idk.

    This would add very nice rpg elements. I like this idea, becuase it would add more depth to villages.

    This is a cool idea, but the choice to become mayor? That doesn’t sound like Minecraft.
