Spear

The spear should be a weapon that does 4 attack damage, and can be thrown like a trident and picked up like a trident.  The spear should be crafted with a stick, a vine, and a rock.  I know we don’t have rocks yet but there are posts about rocks, so yeah.

    The entire progression of Minecraft could be changed forever by simply removing the ability to punch trees and instead force the players to gather rocks, sticks(from leaf blocks), and new "leaves". 

    But we do need more weapon variety to make PvP better

    The spear acts like a low-damage trident. Its crafting recipe should be 3 amethyst crystals ,2 sticks, and 2 feathers You can turn a spear into a trident with 8 prismarine crystals

    I think the spear should use two sticks and a nugget. Hence the two types of a spear would be an iron and gold variant. They would create the stats accordingly since it would be an increase by two for damage for tiers.
