Whenever you trigger a Skulk Shrieker right before you get the darkness effect, make it so that it plays a audio cue like a scary hit of a large drum, and make it echo throughout the Cave making it feel intense when the darkness effect happens. You could maybe also make it so that if you trigger a Skulk Shrieker for a second time it will hit the drum like last time, but twice. Maybe also you could make it so that it plays a scary new audio cue when you wake up the warden after triggering the Shrieker too many times!
