When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Hardened Redstone

Hardened Redstone could take away the pain in having to work around making water redstone builds without making them an easier way. If you smelt redstone dust, you would get hardened redstone. Hardened Redstone could be waterlogged and harder to break than normal redstone. It could also be burn resistant!

Hardened redstone, since it's smelted, would have a smaller activation distance. Instead of the regular 15 blocks, hardened redstone could only travel 8 blocks until it stops sending a signal.

    That sounds like a great idea and it could also allow us to run two different redstone lines next to each other.

    Would it be compatible with regular redstone "wires"?
