The dragon egg has been part of the game for a while and has always just been a trophy. I propose that the dragon egg can hatch, but instead of being a dragon or mob, it is instead a randomly selected weapon/armor/tool that is then uniquely given to the player who hatches the egg. There can only be one of each weapon per world and each player can only carry/use one sacred weapon. The weapon given to the player depends on how the player spent their time in the world. There are many different types of sacred weapons, but the main attribute is that they are unique and diverse.
