Why are the default swamp frogs orange?
Aren't they supposed to be green.

I am not sure if fireflies fit into the frog category, but I think that frogs should instead mate from slime balls. Fireflies (or lightning bugs whatever you call them) should still be added into the game. Fireflies would still spawn in swamps, but they could be caught with a new item. The bundle. Remove the use for holding items, and instead use it for bugs. Fireflies would take up the full bundle storage (like a bucket of fish) and you would be able to craft items like glow frames. Using the bundle of fireflies would remove the fireflies from the bundle and give you an empty bundle. Should not be stackable. I am sorry if this does not fit into the frog feedback but I can't find anywhere else to put this.

Frogs should eat baby zombies/husks/drowned. That would be so satisfying.

Mojang, I have been waiting on these frogs for 3 years, and you certainly did not let me down.

I haven't heard this from anyone yet, but Frog Legs would make a great new food source, as they are fairly common in real life and very representative of the inspiration for the swamp biome. We haven't had a new meat added to the game in a while, either, and this would be a perfect type to add.

Finally, I've seen some comments about Poison Dart frogs or Tree Frog variants for the jungle, and without stealing their ideas, I will say that these are definitely worth looking into, especially since your goal has been to replicate species from real life.

    Frogs are coming to Minecraft!

As a big fan of frogs i know a bit about them and support the fact of removing the fact that frogs eat fireflies in-game because Mojang made the decision that it might influence children to do the same in real life which would poison the frogs and the decison to vary the frogs colour on the climate which is because frogs skin colour and sex depends on their temperature. Minecraft have definitely captured the looks and the basic behaviour of the frogs but what if we could give the frog some more real-life based charcteristics.

Frogs have cutaneous respiration which means they absorb water through their skin to help them keep water in them to breath, in RL if you touch a frog or toad with dry hands it couldn't injure the frog and suffocate them because your pores are absorbing their water. What if we made a feature that if frogs where in sunlight or dry biomes they would take damage like zombies? This is also helped as frogs are nocturnal.

Their are two main types of frogs, ground frogs and tree frogs, wouldn't it be cool if like ground frogs some frogs could burrow and some could climb vertically like spiders to resemble tree frogs.

Poison dart frogs are a common known species and could be an added variant of frog that when hit gives thorn effect, dealing poison to the attacker like in RL.

Depending on the species, frogs will lay their eggs in different places e.g. tree frogs lay eggs on leaves, dart and ground frogs keep the eggs on their backs.

I think that frogs should be able to locate nearby witch huts and jump around just bugging the resident witch until the player comes along and most likely battle the witch or just runs.

In Creative will there be a way to get the kind of Frog you want without being in the proper biome?

And also Frogs don’t change their look if they’re moved biomes right?

I just posted this idea, but it would make sense for frogs to eat silverfish and endermites given frogs reputation of eating buggs

Tadpoles should have 7 stages of maturity like a crop. When in the 5th stage and above, they can exit the water without dying.

    青蛙可分為有毒、無毒

    有毒:

    顏色:紅色、黃色、橘色、紫色或以上混搭

    玩家觸碰時中毒,且損失1顆生命

    無毒:

    玩家可使用海帶馴服

I think you should add a frog scale and the frog scale and difficulty level should dictate what frogs eat. A really big frog should be able to eat big slimes and maybe other things, like players or goats.

I think it would be interesting if frogs also ate other smaller mobs such as Endermites, Bees (yes, I looked it up and frogs in the real world can eat bees), or Silverfish. Additionally, spiders could be an enemy of them since Huntsman Spiders eat smaller frogs in the real world. Although that second sentence was a random thought.

Additionally, it would be interesting to see more Frog Variants for certain biomes, notably jungles due to the wide range of frog species in tropical environments.

Either way, the Frog has turned out to be an amazing new addition. Keep up the good work.
