Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Haste Potion from Amythest Dust

Amethyst shards are very underutilized currently, which is unfortunate due to their very well thought out implementation. The average player only ever needs one crystal for a spyglass, and that's only if they want one. For a material so well suited for farming, there's barely a reason a normal player would do so! Everyone would love a potion of Haste, so where better to get one from than a unique and farmable mineral underground? If amythest shards could be broken down into dust, it would be a perfect material for brewing, and would finally make a potion of haste for those who really want to explore the strategies of mining to their hearts content!

    NO! It would rip-off the beacon use. That feature is unique,and it would be OP if they add one (even if it lasts 10 seconds)

    I really like the idea. I'm glad that it would add 1. more uses for amethyst and 2. a new potion.
