A players can throw emeralds, amethyst shards, ores, maps, enchantment books, sweet berries, and maybe high-durability armor and weapons onto the ground to pillagers and vindicators to trade with them. In exchange, if the pillager or vindicator likes the item given to it by the player, that pillager or vindicator would be friendly towards that specific player and prevent other pillagers, evokers, vexes, ravagers, and vindicators from attacking that players unless/until the player attacks a pillager or pillager variant mobs. If the pillager doesn't like the item, it would call (examples of that are a pillager or vindicator roaring, using a horn, stomping or jumping twice on the ground, throwing a firework rocket into the air, etc.?) other nearby pillagers and vindicators to help attack that player.
This player would gain easy access to nearby woodland mansions and pillager outposts without being attacked by other pillager variant mobs and be able to tame and ride a ravager (and maybe ally or not ally with pillagers instead of villagers).
