Dynamic OST Instruments + Music Frequency Toggle in Settings
Currently, different environments have different songs, and therefore different common instruments. Fair enough - having Nether music playing underwater wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. However, I am not a fan of how musical transitions are handled - going from one environment to another. That is to say they are not handled. To avoid thematic musical conflicts, Minecraft either fades a song out (in the case of entering caves/diving underwater), or abruptly cuts a song off (changing dimensions).
What I propose is instead of cutting songs short by fading them out, to instead fade in to an alternative instrumentation depending on the context. For example, going from a C418 overworld song's default instrumentation to a more aquatic composition when diving underwater, like how Banjo-Kazooie substitutes instruments with a Marimba while underwater, or you could add ambient Electric Guitar when entering the Nether.
I want this done because I love the Minecraft OST, but it gets cut off so frequently I never get to hear it in full during gameplay. I also want a music frequency toggle added so I can hear more of it.
Upon a modified version of a song ending, the OST would continue playing the appropriate music for the environment until the next change.
