Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Items for copper

Copper in minecraft is usually seen but it only has few uses, so to make it more useful here's my added ideas for its functionality.

Add copper materials like: copper fence (could be redstone powered to electrify anyone that touches it), copper trap door, copper door, copper rod (can be used for hanging cooker to grill fishes and chicken by putting it above the campfire), copper string (more visible string for trip wires or use it as barb wires by combining them in crafting table in a specific patterns), copper armor, copper shield, javelin (copper nugget + 2 sticks).

Replacement material for iron in: compass, bars, tripwire hooks, rails, lantern and replacement for sticks in bow and fishing rod (copper rod + normal string) in that way, there will be copper bow & fishing rod and wooden bow & fishing rod.

Redstone: electricity, and copper: water system. Copper as pipes could be included in an educational version for sustainability education system.

Or make coins from copper blocks in the stone grinder or make a new tool for making coins, could be called counterfeiter or coin stamper (1 copper ingot = 1 coin). These could unlock more trading opportunities with villagers or wandering trader... I personally want wandering traders to have copper as their main currency and let the emerald on the villagers, but it'll cost higher number of copper since it's easily mined.

And i hope wandering traders would offer rare useful items.

    copper rods would be a great use for the camping ambiance and adding fishes on sticks the icon would look like the raw fish is skewed on the rod, and by puting them into campfires they'll be grilled, it would do best on raw chicken, ostrich, rabbit, mutton, beef, pork, and even potatoes too!

    There are some fun things with copper like the variety of blocks, stairs and don't forget a spyglass., but if we going to see copper a lot, there should be many items that we could use with copper.

    How about mixing copper with another block to make bronze armor/tools? More durable than gold, but not as strong as steel.

    Kinda surprised they didn't do this at the outset.
