Bringing back Mobs not being able to jump over upward trapdoors.

Could we maybe bring back trapdoor fences meaning make mobs not being able to jump over trapdoors when the trap door is facing upwards for an example I made a chicken coop but I use trapdoors for the fences and it just looked different to the normal fence

  I was hoping it was a temporary bug with seeing them recently able to hop over fences made with trapdoors. While I understand the logic of passive animal mobs being able to get over trap doors, I thought it was a very useful and cool feature for farms I've used trapdoors to keep chickens and rabbits from being able to escape. I will be greatly disappointed if trapdoors can no longer contain animal mobs. :(
