Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    Wax simply acts as a lubricant that lasts a long time, it can be replaced with sunflower oil, milk, meat fat as an alternative.
    BUT instead, a much more common practice was to stick arrows into the ground, which reduced penetration but caused infection (delayed effect).
    Both methods can be implemented in a fletcher table.

    Keeping the arrowhead on the shaft is a specialty of individual hunting (not combat) arrows. Wax will not work, it is better to use casein glue from milk.
