I feel as though the keepInventory game rule is a bit too rigid currently. I like having it on since I personally feel having to lose both your items and experience points is overly punishing, but I also feel like turning this game rule on makes the game a bit too easy. I like having at least some kind of reason to avoid dying, so I believe this game rule could be improved if it were split into multiple game rules. I think having to lose experience points is a fair enough punishment for dying, so why not split it up into two rules: keepInventory and keepExperience? Perhaps there could also be a new one that lets players keep a certain percent of items when they die; similar to the playersSleepingPercentage rule, this one would be set to 100 by default (meaning, players lose 100% of their items on death), but can be toggled to let players keep a rough percentage of their items (chosen at random). keepInventory as it is works perfectly fine, but I think adding more customization to the game rule would be nothing but a good thing for the game.
