Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Limestone & Marble

Limestone and Marble would be great building blocks for Minecraft.

I can envision a cave biome, which could spawn on land, but would be more common in underwater caves, formed out of a new block, known as limestone. It may be common in larger beaches and deserts.

Marble could be a block that could spawn as a cave biome, or similar to diorite, granite, and andesite in caves, it would be rare in temperate and cold biomes, along with jungles, however it would be fairly common to see in deserts and savannahs. You can also create marble similar to the copper block system, you could leave limestone in the hot sun of hot biomes such as deserts, savannahs, and badlands, it could turn into the marble block.

Limestone bricks and marble tiles would also be good building blocks alongside the basic blocks.
