Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Blank Music Discs and Redstone Recorder Block

This would add the Blank Music Disc which is rare, and the redstone recording block. By putting the music disc in the Recorder block, the Recorder block would pick up all sound from a redstone contraption start to finish, and after the contraption is over. The recorder block ejects the music disc. This would encourage people to use note blocks more, and have another use for them. 


Extra and old information in case you still don't understand:
Recorder Block: 1x1 Slot

You put in the music disc

You start the contraption 

You wait start to finish

The block ejects the disc then you collect it

(In Order for the Recorder block to pick up sound, there has to be redstone connected to it!)

    Great idea !

    In addition to this, it would be great to be able to craft it with a minecart and make it move around the contraption
