Staff of Souls (New deep dark item for the chest)

There have been a lot of questions about what's going to be in the chest in the deep darks biome. Well what if we have an item based on souls? Souls are already through out the Minecraft world, so why not? When you acquire the staff it can shoot a projectile soul fragment at the target that can do flame damage or some other type of damage. One of the enchantments could be three soul fragments shot out instead of one(like one of the enchantments for the crossbow). This item would be classified as a new weapon and can only be found in the deep dark. I really think this would add on to the thrill of the deep dark. I hope you can consider my idea.
