when you have jump boost 1, you climb ladders quicker. When you have jump boost 2, you climb ladders quicker than with jump boost 1. This can make ladders a viable source of traveling upward, instead of people always using bubble elevators and riptide. It also can be used when making content or playing with friends, like in an escape from another player. Or maybe in minigames, Like a race to the top of buildings, but with loot crates that can occasionally give you jump boost so you could climb quicker than your competitors.
