  1. They said the Deep Dark is not intended to have any connection to the End. The color pallette is meant to be more blueish; a combination of death and souls you might say. The stuff that looks like Endstone is actually bone-like material. All of that was mentioned by Kingbdogz (other than the death and souls part; that's just (kind of obvious) speculation).

  2. They said they want to add unique items that will actually add completely new gameplay mechanics and abilities that players were not able to do before, as opposed to just stronger gear.
