I really liked the idea from the copper golems that, when they fully oxidized, they would stand still and become a statue. I then got the idea that what if we can make and customize our own copper statues, like we can with banners.
Copper statues would be made with a wax mold and raw copper. The wax mold can be made from honeycombs and a new item, the chisel. I was thinking there could be a new crafting bench called the moulding workbench, or something similar, where you would put the chisel and the honeycombs and an array of options would appear for the design of the mold, much like the options given in the stonecutter. There could also be specific mold designs that the player can find throughout the world in chests, like banner patterns. Once a mold is made, you can combine it with raw copper in a new type of furnace, the induction furnace, to make the statue. The mold will be reusable. There can be a type of indicator in the induction furnace interface to let the player know how much raw copper they need to make the type and size of mold they made. Players can also wax the statue by adding honeycombs to the statue until they can’t add anymore.
