The Allay should spawn in the dark oak forest because of that biome's fantasy and mysterious ambience, and it will give that biome a one-of-a-kind exclusive mob. It can be captured before being summoned/released by the player using some item. By catching them similar to a fish with a bucket, you can take them wherever you want, making them easily portable. When you kill an Evoker, it may drop an item that lets you obtain the allay. With the Evoker wielding this item, it alludes to some lore of them taking Allays and corrupting them into Vexes, but in the player's hands, you'll have helpful Allays instead of evil Vexes. They should be extremely efficient at gathering items by flying faster than the player can run, giving the impression that they're eager to assist, and allowing them to pass through blocks like the Vex. They should be able to travel 50-80 chunks of distance. When interacting with a note block, you will notice note particles that are colored differently depending on their pitch. What if you could assign an Allay to a specific note block by right-clicking on it, then right-clicking on the note block you want to assign it to, and the Allay's color would change to match the note? To change the color of the Allay you change the pitch of the block, so that way you can tell which allay is assigned to which note block by its color. Finally, the Allay should sometimes drop its own music disc when slain. It only makes sense considering they enjoy music.
