There is a feature in the Bedrock edition where the game finds the biome for the player to spawn in. However, it makes the game slightly too easy as the game only looks for somewhat easy-to-live-in biomes. However, from there, it can be tweaked to include other biomes and make the search difficulty-dependent.
On Peaceful and Easy: Same as current Bedrock spawn biomes (plains, forest, dark forest, taiga, jungle, and savanna) but including meadows and birch forests.
On Normal: Spawn in the biomes mentioned above is possible, but less likely: Additional biomes are as follows:
- More Savanna variants
- Swamps
- Snowy biomes
- Deserts*
- Badlands*
- Windswept hills (except gravelly hills)*
- Groves
- Bamboo forests
It is highly unlikely to spawn in biomes marked with an asterisk(*), (except wooden badlands)
Furthermore, there is a 0.5% chance to spawn in the Nether, specifically in these biomes:
- Crimson Forest
- Warped Forest
On Hard: Spawning on biomes marked with an asterisk(*) is slightly more likely, and the player can spawn in these biomes:
- Snowy Slopes
- Jagged Peaks
- Frozen Peaks
- Gravelly Hills
- Dripstone Caves
- Lush Caves
Additionally, there is a 10% chance to spawn in the Nether.
Spawning in the biomes mentioned in the Peaceful and Easy section is highly unlikely.
Overall, I believe this would make Normal and especially Hard much harder than it currently is and reflect the actual in-game difficulty.
