Literally everyone version of Minecraft, every devices except mobile phones and tablet (I'll just call them Pocket Edition now, screw Bedrock Edition) can do stuff with a dedicated button for placing or breaking stuff. Like in Win 10 with it's mouse and keyboard which is just a worse incarnation of Minecraft Java 1.8 PvP, and all the consoles having buttons as substitute for you mouse left click and right click. So over like about a decade now, why the hell is Pocket Edition is not getting this change? Why are Pocket Edition controls still uses 0.12.0 style stuff? Since the sprint and sneak button were added, there were not a single major change to the controls.
Take the sneak button. Why does it need to be double tapped for us to sneak? Why can't we just single tap to temporarily sneak and double tap to hold sneak? Sprinting already proves double tapping can have a different output, so why isn't this added yet?
As for the attack and building button, I think it should be added by splitting the camera moving portion of the screen in half, the right half of the screen will then be split again and the attack button and build button will be placed there, as invisible buttons. Adding that will allow off hand slot to be accessible by more items. Adding a setting for GUI customization will be helpful too.
Are you guys still going to leave the other versions behind java just because you guys still wont add these 2 buttons into Pocket Edition?
