Amethyst crystals create light

In my knowledge amethyst crystals refract light so i think the same thing should happen it in minecraft. It would also stop mobs ambushing me when i find a geode.

  They do emit light levels of 1-4.

  In all the trailers and stuff the geodes are all tempting and glowy, I think it's important for them to keep that magic, have a vote
