- First ability : make some noise to avoid warden, or deactivating nearby sculks.
Seems like warden is the only mob in deepdark city, so powerful and scary, even if can't see. Minecraft has a lot of sound effects, that only sneaking and throwing projectiles can't be avoiding warden, needs another countermeasure.
Or like conductor's baton, controll nearby sculks and sound blocks like noteblocks, would be relative with alleys.
- Second ability : absorbing health or xp.
Sculk catalysts seem using monsters xp into sculks with soul effect when they killed, apply in new item ?
- Third ability : breaking deepslate more easily.
Deepslates are harder than stones, maybe more easily to breaking without enchanting for getting resourses in deep caves. Maybe haste effect or some new things like gnawing ?

Thinking about mojang's Progressing unique items in deep dark city. Many peoples usually thought weapon, or armor, effective items in survival.
And hope it has unique ability with upcoming updates.
Unique item, should be never seen in minecraft, and emblems that,
You beat Deep Dark City and Warden, like terrifying horror game !
Or It could be parts of somethings haven't updated, be like nether star in beacon.
Or would be relative items with sculks, warden, deepslates, or soul and sounds ?
