Use the stonecutter as a chisel

The chisel mod is one of the best mods in Minecraft, since it expands the variety of blocks you can use in your builds but without ruining minecraft mechanics or adding overpowered stuff to the game, and thats why I think in a future update something like it could be added:

The stonecutter: it has little use in the game, but it is just perfect for this idea; it coud be used for changing different block's textures. The mechanic is just like it is now, a block is put on the stonecutter and you can choose what to turn it into, not only stairs or slabs but into different textures of it.

These textures would be different variations of the original block, as stonebricks are a variation of stone. For example:

Magma blocks: these could be turned into bricks, which could be black or dark grey bricks with the line in between them orange as lava, and even pilars like quartz but with the lines as lava, etc

Glass: glasses with different patterns and mosaics, and with all 16 colors.

Sealantern and Glowstone lanterns: these could still emit light but with various textures that could be much more beautiful than what we have now.

Diorite, Calcite, Granite etc: these could have different versions like stone and deepslate have, like chiseled versions, bricks, pilars etc.
