Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

You should be able to leash armor and use it to rappel down drops

You could use a fence post and attach a chest plate to a leash. When you put it on you would be able  to mine safely over gaps and lava because when you fall the lead will hold you for 20 blocks but if you go any farther the lead will snap and you will fall
