Boats should only be crafted with a Wooden Shovel as an oar

Recently I accidentally sacrificed an Iron Shovel to make a boat because I crafted it using the recipe book. I wasn't looking at the crafting area to see the Iron Shovel. What hurt the most is that I already crafted a Wooden Shovel to use for the boat. So now I had to lose my Iron Shovel and keep the wooden one. The point of the recipe book is to be more accessible and to quickly craft items without even thinking. Shouldn't boats be crafted with only a Wooden Shovel as an oar? At the very least, you could make a Wooden Shovel have top priority over other shovels when using the recipe book to make a boat. Using anything but wood as an oar makes no sense at all. Even worse, you could accidentally waste a perfectly good enchanted Netherite Shovel to craft a measly boat. That could be devastating and will require a lot of work to get back.
