Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Block for XP farms

I had an idea for a block similar to the skulk catalyst. It's a block that, when a mob dies near it and drops an item, the block will basically take in those items and hold them until the block is broken. I feel that this will be helpful, especially in mob grinders. If you wanted to pick it up you could just use silk touch.
