Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ways to stop items from despawning and stop other players from taking them.

I would like for there to be ways to stop items from despawning, and to stop other players from picking them up, mostly for display builds like a pedastool. Plus, preventing players from picking them up could help protect them from griefing

    I have the same problem with minecarts. when I make an automated farm using hopper minecarts. they despawn and it takes up tons of iron to make
